Eversheds, the London-based international law firm has received the award of Financial Times, given to the most innovative law firm in Europe.
Among the big international law firms ranked every year since 2001, it was Eversheds, that received the award that grants an outstanding respect to its winner. Eversheds was ranked number one on the list made by Financial Times Law, evaluating 50 law firms, therefore ahead of last year’s winner, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer,LLP.
The evaluation is a summary of the rankings on lists made from different aspects, and the points in several different fields of activity. Eversheds also came number one in the categories of Innovation in Client Services, Innovation in Climate Change and Sustainable Energies, and Innovation in Law Firm Efficiency, and came second in the Innovation in Law Firms Brands.
Renda SenGupta, one of the judges of the awards commented: „In this year’s Financial Times Law 50 report Eversheds was ranked number one. The award is a testament to the hard work done by Eversheds in the last few years. Just three years ago, National Grid, the UK energy utility referred to Eversheds as the ’new kid on the block’. In the last few years however, it has grown into an adult firm in Europe, with a genuine commitment to trying to do things differently.”
Dr. Tamás Sándor, the managing partner of Sándor Szegedi Szent-Ivány Komáromi Eversheds Attorneys at Law said: „winning this award highlights the changes in the legal industry in the period of recession. The best ranked firms were the ones most capable of international collaboration, reception of foreign experiences and truly international solutions. We are very happy about Eversheds’ great success and are proud to work as Eversheds’ Hungarian office.
