EU-funded €37 mln wastewater-treatment project launched in Budapest

The Enviroduna Project Management Ltd has begun implementation of a €37 million European Union-funded project to connect the entire city district of Csepel with the Budapest Central Wastewater Treatment Station, the public-relations company representing Enviroduna told MTI on Wednesday evening.

The European Union Cohesion Fund is financing 65% of the cost of the Budapest Local Council investment dubbed COL4, the company said, citing Enviroduna CEO Zsolt Zoltán Wertan.

Work on the project, which began in early April, is expected to be completed by the end of 2012.
