EPSON sees 30-40% revenue drop in Hungary

Japanese IT equipment maker EPSON expects a 30-40% drop in revenue on the Hungarian market in the first half of its business year started April 1 as retail sales plunge, Miklós Fábián, sales and marketing director for the company's representative in the country, said at a press conference on Wednesday.

Because of the uncertainty on the market, EPSON is setting six-month targets rather than ones for the full year, Fábián said. EPSON had revenue in Hungary of €10 million in its business year ended March 31, up from €9.4 million in the previous business year. (MTI-ECONEWS)
