French-owned automotive company EMT Hungária Kft is set to invest Ft 640 million in Győr in a bid to increase production, according to daily Világgazdaság. The Gödöllő-based metal processor said it opted for the west Hungarian city as the location for its new facility due to the vicinity of big automakers. Established in 1998, EMT has grown to become a supplier of auto parts to several international automotive firms such as Fuji-Kiko, Schneider Electric and Acratis. The company expects to see revenues advance nearly a third to Ft 1.53 billion in 2005 and pump up annual sales to Ft 12.5 billion by 2010.
