IT-cum-media company econet.hu wants to bid in a consortium for Hungary's two national commercial radio frequencies, vice president Gábor Rosner told MTI.
Econet.hu will decide whether to bid for the frequencies after the final text of the tender is published, Rosner said. The company envisions bidding together with either a financial or professional investor, he added.
Advertising revenue of econet.hu's media unit Est Media Group dropped about 25% in Q1, in line with the average for the sector. Est Media Group publishes program guides which are freely distributed all around the country. (MTI-ECONEWS)
