Internet billing and payment company DíjNet expects the number of its clients to double from the current 50,000 as a result of the addition of customers from its new partner, the E.ON group, the business daily Napi Gazdaság reported on Wednesday.
E.ON has more than 3 million clients.
In addition to OTP Bank, DíjNet's billing system will also be available from CIB Bank's internet banking system from December.
Service providers save around HUF 30-40 per one HUF 10,000 bill by using the system as opposed to payment at the post office.
Díjbeszedő Holding CEO Zoltán Kovács told the paper that Budapest residents will be able to pay all of their public utilities bills through DíjNet's website or by mobile phone from April 2010. (MTI-ECONEWS)
