A HUF 10.6 billion development at a health center in Debrecen, Hungary's second-biggest city, was inaugurated on Saturday.
The Debrecen Health Center development project was inaugurated by National Resources Minister Miklós Réthelyi, Hajdú-Bihari County government commissioner Róbert Rácz and Debrecen Mayor Lajos Kósa.
The health center's director, György Paragh, said the development involved the construction of a laboratory diagnostic center, as well as a central emergency, intensive care and internal medicine block. Several clinics were renovated and the conditions for live donor transplantation were also created, he added.
The development was supported with European Union funding.
