The Csányi Cellars raised registered capital by HUF 140 million to HUF 1.88 billion by issuing new shares, business daily Világgazdaság said on Thursday, quoting Tamás Éder, corporate relations and PR manager of Bonafarm Zrt.
The Csányi Cellars, a member of the Bonafarm Group -- a direct interest of OTP Bank CEO Sándor Csányi --, is to use part of the fresh funds on restructuring at its own vineyard and part of it on innovation. The Cellars have processed close to 1,940 tonnes of grapes this year, a slightly better than average year, and will produce 14,000 hectoliters of wine. Revenue amounted to HUF 1.2 billion last year and is expected to be similar this year. (MTI Econews)
