Creditors file claims against BÁÉV

Nearly 80 creditors have filed claims worth a combined HUF 1.65 billion against bankrupt construction company BÁÉV Zrt, which was forced into liquidation in April this year, daily Napi Gazdaság reported, citing the company's liquidator. Based in Békéscsaba, southeast Hungary, BÁÉV has a book value of HUF 1.2 billion and owns thirty – mostly mortgaged – properties, the value of which is currently being assessed. The company's revenue dropped to HUF 1.2 billion last year from HUF 2 billion in 2007, while losses hit HUF 100 billion in 2009. (BBJ)
