Competition Office fines Pannon, Vodafone for unfair business practices

Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) on Thursday said it fined mobile telecommunications companies Pannon GSM and Vodafone a combined HUF 25 million for unfair business practices.

GHV fined Pannon GSM HUF 15 million and Vodafone HUF 10 million for wooing mobile internet subscribers with promises of intensive internet use, then slowing down data traffic for subscribers who used the service within the limits of the contract. (MTI-Econews)
