Competition Office fines companies for children-targeted ads

Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) on Tuesday said it fined two companies a combined HUF 2 million for unfair business practices related to the advertising of products to children.

GVH fined M-Agnes for targeting children with advertisements of series of figurines, then enclosing them in packaging that does not reveal the toy.

GVH fined Egmont-Hungary for targeting children with a game of chance related to magazines it publishes.
