Communities in SE Hungary start HUF 14 bln sewerage development

The Hungarian city of Makó (SE Hungary) and surrounding towns have started a HUF 14 billion sewerage renovation and development, local officials said at a press conference on Thursday.

The project, supported with HUF 11.5 billion in European Union funding, is expected to be completed in June 2014.

The project will connect more than 14,300 homes in six communities to the sewerage.
