Communities in Hungary and Austria have won a €6.2 million European Union grant to build a bicycle path between the two countries, project manager Mihály Hutflesz told MTI on Tuesday.
The path, between Seewinkel in the Austrian state of Burgenland and Hansag in northwest Hungary, is to be completed by the start of next year's tourist season, said Hutflesz.
The local council of the Hungarian city of Kapuvár is getting more than €2.3 million of the grant money.
