The Délibáb hotel in the spa town of Hajdúszoboszló has been sold for net HUF 800 million, news portal dehir.hu reported, citing Imre Buga, the bailiff for the hotel's former owner Cívis Hotels.
The hotel was one of three owned by Cívis Hotels that was put on the block as part of their owner's liquidation, but the other two failed to attract any bids by the deadline at the end of November, Buga said. The offer for the Délibáb was well under the HUF 1.25 billion asking price and required the separate approval of Cívis Hotels' creditors, he added.
The purchase price for the Délibáb must be transferred by the end of January.
New tenders will be called for the remaining two hotels, the Golden Bull, a landmark in the centre of Debrecen, and the Best Western Kalvin, also in Debrecen, in the near future, dehir.hu said. (MTI – Econews)
