Innonet Nonprofit, owned by the local council of Győr (NW Hungary) and the Győr- Moson -Sopron County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will complete an automotive industry technology center, called Technonet, in the city's industrial park by the middle of 2011, managing director László Budavári told MTI.
Some HUF 400 million in European Union and state funding covered 80% of the cost of the first phase of the project, Budavári said.
The phase involved the construction of office space, warehouse space and other infrastructure on an area of 1,600sqm. Production halls will be completed in the coming months as part of the second phase of the project.
Contracts have already been signed with Hungarian owned-businesses to use about half of the centre's production space, Budavári said. Foreign-owned companies are also expected to take advantage of the centre, he added.
