Hungary's Central Services Directorate has issued a HUF 25 billion tender to provide computers to institutions falling under the authority of the directorate and voluntarily connecting to the directorate's public-procurement system, the latest issue of the Public Procurement Gazette reveals.
The tender calls for bids in three distinct areas: provision of HP, IBM, Sun/Oracle, SGI, Bull/MEC, Fujitsu or other computers of an equal quality HUF 19.4 billion; provision of Dell, Acer, Lenovo, Apple or other computers of equal quality to a total value of net HUF 3.3 billion; and provision of HUF 2.5 billion worth heterogeneous, flexible-configuration computers or notebooks.
The tender stipulates that bidders in the first area must have had sales of at least net HUF 500 million in such computers over each of the past two years, while bidders of the second type of computers must have had sales of at least net HUF 350 million in such computers over each of the past two years and biddersin the third area must have had respective sales of at least net HUF 250 million.
The deadline for submission of bids in the tender is April 27. The winner of the tender will be announced on May 25.
