Center for young entrepreneurs expanded with support from Norwegian Fund

A grant of €578,000 awarded in 2009 from the Norwegian Fund covered the cost of expansion of an office block and the construction of a new 230 sqm education center at Budapest's center for young entrepreneurs (BIVAK) completed on Saturday.

The Norwegian Fund's “Adult Education, Training and Business Development Incentive” tender aims to improve employment conditions for disadvantaged segments of Hungary's population and improve social cohesion and acceptance in central Hungary and Budapest.

As part of the program a business incubator for beginning businesses has also been established, which receive free office space. About 50 businesses are already using the service.
