The Budapest Stock Exchange's main BUX index rose 0.45% to 22,259.51 at noon on Thursday as all blue chips gained.
OTP Bank gained 0.30% to HUF 5,065, oil and gas company MOL inched up 0.02% to HUF 20,700, drug maker Richter advanced 1.37% to HUF 43,640 and Magyar Telekom rose 0.15% to HUF 665.
Share turnover amounted to HUF 3.2 billion for the morning.
Major Western European indices were mixed, with London's FTSE falling 0.27%, Frankfurt's DAX losing 0.19% and the CAC-40 in Paris inching up 0.08%.
Elsewhere in the CEE region, Warsaw's WIG-20 inched up 0.02% and Prague's PX-50 rose 0.83%. (MTI – Econews)
