Budapest business chamber sets up Hungarian-Indian division

The Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK) has set up a division that will work toward developing business relations between India and Hungary, vice president of the division Sarolta Nemes Lakatosne told MTI on Saturday.

The division was founded by 14, mostly Hungarian businesses that support Hungarian SMEs attempting to enter the Indian market, Mrs Lakatos said. The founders include drug companies, food companies, businesses that deal with renewable energy, foreign traders, education organizers and advisors. Indian businessmen are showing great interest in Hungarian possibilities and have major capital power, Mrs Lakatos said, adding they will offer help to these companies to enter the Hungarian market.
