The number of broadband internet subscriptions in Hungary grew to 1.52m in November from 1.5m in October, figures published by the National Communications Authority (NHH) on Friday show.
The number of ADSL subscriptions inched up 0.25% to 791,000 in November compared to October. The number of cable subscriptions of the four largest cable-television companies (UPC, T-Kábel, Fibernet and DIGI) climbed 1.5% to 525,000. As these four companies control about 70% of the cable internet market, the total number of subscriptions in Hungary reached about 729,000 in November. (MTI – Econews)
