Hungary's state-owned road maintenance company Magyar Közút Nonprofit has announced the winners of tenders to renovate 30 bridges for a combined HUF 908 million in the latest issue of the Public Procurement Gazette.
Cardium Építőipar, Hidak 2009 Konzorcium, Strabag-MML, Polar-Húsz and BHE Konzorcium bid a combined HUF 564 million to renovate 28 bridges in the first tender.
In the second tender, Magyar Aszfalt won a contract to renovate a bridge over the Rába with a bid of HUF 39 million and KÖZGÉP Építő és Fémszerkezetgyártó won a contract to renovate a bridge spanning the Fehér-Körös with a bid of HUF 307 million.
Price was the main consideration in the tender. (MTI-ECONEWS)
