German engineering giant Robert Bosch will begin transferring production of alternators for luxury cars from Wales to the company's plants in Miskolc and Hatvan beginning in August, the business daily Napi Gazdaság reported.
Communications director Ferenc Ficzere of Bosch's Hungarian unit told the newspaper that the company plans to hire a further 400 workers at the Miskolc plant to accommodate the transfer in production, noting that Bosch plans to hire fewer workers at the Hatvan plant.
Ficzere said Bosch expects to complete transfer of production from the company's plant in Cardiff to Hungary by August 2011.
