Bosch sparks increased investment, jobs

German automotive, industrial, and consumer goods manufacturer Bosch announced that it would create around 700 new jobs in Hungary by the end of the year with an investment of €70 million-€90 million.

As a result of the announcement, the company would employ more than 200 people at its development center in Budapest, which opened last October.
Bosch's 12 local subsidiaries employ a total of 6,280 people and generated combined sales of €763 million in 2005.
