Bookline turns small profit in 2009

Hungarian bookseller Bookline had after-tax profit of HUF 6.2 million in 2009 after losses of HUF 228.6 million in the previous year, the company said.

Net sales revenue rose 14.7% to almost HUF 4bn, said board member Beáta Lendvai.

EBITDA more than quadrupled to HUF 117 million.

Bookline's management projects a revenue increase exceeding 10% and a 15% rise in gross margin for 2010. (MTI – Econews)
