Bazaltbor Badacsony Kft has announced the launch of an investment to build a wine bottling facility in the Badacsony wine region, on the shores of Lake Balaton in Hungary.
The facility will be complemented by a showcase wine cellar as well as a hotel, the latter being scheduled for completion early next year.
The aggregate cost of the venture is expected to reach HUF 1 billion with HUF 400 million in EU development grants already approved for the investment to result in a five-building winery complex.
Bence Laposa, head of Bazaltbor said the processing facility will feature three floors with 1,500 square meters of space. During the initial period of operation it will be used to roll out 100,000 bottles of wine. (Napi Gazdaság)
