A consortium led by Austrian-owned Bilfinger Berger Hungária has won a tender to build a flood reservoir in Nagykunság (SE Hungary) with a bid of net HUF 6.6 billion, the latest issue of the Public Procurement Gazette reveals.
The consortium's other members include Duna Aszfalt, KELET-ÚT and GEOHIDROTERV.
The project will involve moving 1.8 million cubic meters of earth and laying 5,400 cubic meters of reinforced concrete.
The project was estimated by the Water Management and Environmental Protection Central Directorate to cost HUF 7.9 billion. The winner was selected from among nine bidders. (MTI-ECONEWS)
