Audi Hungaria has again topped a list of companies in W Hungary based on revenue and compiled using data from tax returns.
The Hungarian unit of German car maker Audi was number one on the list, based on 2009 revenue of HUF 1,047.6 billion. The runner-up was LuK Savaria, a unit of German clutch maker LuK, with revenue of HUF 96.9 billion. In third place was E.ON Észak-Dunántúli Áramszolgáltató, with revenue of HUF 65.9 billion.
Heineken Hungaria Breweries was in fourth place with revenue of HUF 47.6 billion, followed by automotive industry supplier Delphi Hungary, whose turnover was not made public. No information was publicly available about the sixth-place company on the list.
Gas company Linde Gáz Magyarország was in seventh place with revenue of HUF 36.8 billion and Saga Foods was in eighth place with turnover of HUF 33.8 billion, followed by building materials maker Velux Magyarország (HUF 34.8 billion) and Bos Automotive Products (HUF 26.1 billion). (MTI-Econews)
