Audi Hungaria Motor is the most attractive employer in Hungary among career starters, a survey by Aon Hewitt, AIESEC Magyarország and Figyelő shows.
German car maker Audi's engine and car assembly unit in Hungary topped the ranking in the Employer Brand Study which surveyed 33,000 people, including 8,000 fresh graduates.
In a breakdown by market segment, the local unit of Israeli generic drug maker Teva took the top place in health care, Coca-Cola HBC Magyarország was the best employer in the areas of sales and marketing, Hewlett Packard was the most attractive company in the IT sector and Ernst and Young Tanácsadó in the tax consulting and auditing sector. In addition to being named best overall employer, Audi Hungaria Motor was at the top of the list in the logistics category. German engineering giant Bosch's businesses in Hungary were the most attractive in the technology category and Hungarian oil and gas company MOL was the biggest draw in the finance category.
Respondents were asked to evaluate more than 230 companies, considering entry programs and promotion opportunities.
The survey showed half of career-starters consider salary the most important factor when taking a job. But 40% said a company's reliability was most important and one-third said opportunity for professional development was the main factor to consider.
