The Hungarian unit of German car maker Audi could double staff at its engine research centre in Győr from 22 by year-end, Audi Hungária Motor spokesperson Mónika Czechmeister told MTI on Monday.
In the future, the centre will start making prototype engines that could later be introduced in serial production at Audi's plant in Győr.
Among the staff at the centre are 17 specially-trained engineers, Czechmeister said.
Last year, Audi's plant in Győr made almost 1,384,000 engines. (MTI-ECONEWS)
