German carmaker Audi has added a fifth managing director to oversee vehicle production at its base in Hungary, Audi Hungaria Motor announced on Wednesday.
Ulrich Minke, who has been with the company since 1981, took over the new post from July 1.
Minke will work with Audi Hungaria Motor chairman Thomas Faustmann, financial director Dr Johannes Roscheck, production director Achim Heinfling and HR director Richard Rozman.
Audi announced in September a €900 million expansion at its base in the Hungarian city of Győr. The investment is to raise output at the plant to 125,000 cars a year from 2013 and create 1,800 jobs.
Minke has headed the "Vehicle Production Győr" project since last November, the company said.
