The Hungarian unit of French supermarket chain Auchan had gross revenue of HUF 225 billion in 2010, about the same as in 2009, Auchan Magyarország CEO Jean-Paul Filliat said at a press conference on Wednesday.
The figure does not include proceeds from the sale of nine petrol stations during the year.
Auchan Magyarország had a loss of just over HUF 7 billion in 2010, an improvement over the HUF 7.9 billion loss in 2009, Filliat said.
The unit paid about €11 million (HUF 2.65 billion) on a crisis tax levied on retailers last year.
This year, Auchan Magyarország expects revenue growth of 3.5-4%.
