A group of Arab investors plan to spend billions of forints to build a 300-room luxury hotel and water park in Veszprém (northwest Hungary), the city’s mayor János Debreczenyi announced on Tuesday.
The investors from Saudi Arabia and Dubai have already chosen a law office and a planning office, Debreczenyi said. They want to complete the project in two to two-and-a-half years. A point of special importance for the investors was the establishment of a civilian airport in nearby Szentkirályszabadja. The city will not offer the investors a tax break. (MTI-Eco)
