APEH fines Budapest transport company HUF 600m

The tax office APEH has fined the Budapest transport company BKV HUF 600 million, the daily Népszava said on Friday.

BKV CFO Tibor Bolla told the newspaper that tax debt makes up two-thirds of the amount, with one-third coming from the fine and default interest.

Bolla said the company disputes the amount of the tax debt, originating from 2005 and 2006, and has submitted an appeal against the decision. (MTI-ECONEWS)
