America simply loves Herend

Wealthy consumers rated Herend, Hermes and Waterford the Top Three Fine China Brands of 2006.

In 2006 ‘Herendi’ was the most popular porcelain brand in the USA, published US market research institute Luxury Institute, which „focuses solely on the top 10% of America’s wealthy”, citing a survey conducted last year.

According to the Luxury Institute's 2006 annual Luxury Brand Status Index (LBSI) survey of Fine China Brands, Herend is the top-ranked fine china brand among the 29 brands tested, placing first overall, as well as in each component metric. Herend Porcelain Manufactory Zrt has an oversea revenue of $5 million – $6 million a year (€3.7 - €4.5 million). (Magyar Hírlap)
