Alcoa-Kofem, the Hungarian unit of US aluminum giant Alcoa, had revenue of more than $600m in 2010, a level not seen since before the crisis, managing director Béla Forgó told MTI on Thursday at a ceremony marking the company's 70 anniversary.
This year, Alocoa-Kofem expects similar revenue, Forgó said, although leaving open the chance for improvement.
Alcoa-Kofem employs about 1,700 people. About 95% of its products are exported to markets in Northern and Western Europe. The company's capital expenditures come to $20 million -25 million a year.
