IT company Albacomp Zrt had revenue of Ft 10.5 billion in January-September, 23% more than in the same period a year earlier, CEO Gábor Pukler said on Thursday.
Revenue from system integration activities rose 70% during the period, while revenue from consulting increased even more markedly, from Ft 118 million to Ft 880 million. Albacomp expects to close 2006 with after-tax profit of Ft 160 million-Ft 170 million on revenue of Ft 18 billion, up from after-tax profit of Ft 70 million on revenue of Ft 14.5 billion in 2005. Revenue from services is expected to account for 30% of the total this year, but, by 2008, the company aims to boost this proportion to 50%.
Albacomp recently set up a research center, which is expected to result in partnerships with Hungarian colleges and universities in the area of EU development projects. The company is currently working on partnerships with the Veszprém University, the Kandó Kálmán Technical College and the Debrecen University.
