Ajka Kristály could double revenue in 2010

Ajka Kristály, a member of the Fotex group, could double its revenue in 2010 from HUF 1.18 billion (€420,928) in 2009, primarily due to recovery on the US market and to competitors' bankruptcies, the business daily Napi Gazdaság said on Thursday, quoting CEO Zoltán Katzer.

The company, which was compelled to apply for bankruptcy protection in 2009, now employs 280 workers and has an increasing order stock. Ajka Kristály exports the bulk of its production, attaining particular success on the US market in recent months. (MTI-Econews)
