Air Partner to become general sales agent for Germania

Germania Airline has appointed charter supplier Air Partner as its general sales agent (GSA) for Austria and Hungary. The partnership started last year when the Austrian subsidiary of Air Partner planned and organized pilgrim flights to Lourdes (France). This successful cooperation led to a GSA agreement where Air Partner will market Germania capacity to tour operators, travel agencies and corporate clients.

Germania will supply one aircraft on an exclusive basis which will be predominantly operating from Austrian and Hungarian airports. There will be direct seat sales on selected routes. "Having successfully worked together with Germania for the last year, we look forward to intensify this partnership. Both companies focus on quality, flexibility and on the customer's needs which makes for an excellent base to develop common business. A promising start with a lot of future potential," says Peter Springinklee, country manager Austria and Germany at Air Partner.

“Germania has been establishing itself for more than 30 years as a solid partner among German charter and leisure airlines. We are delighted that we are able to offer our quality product through Air Partner to markets such as Austria, Hungary and neighboring countries. Air Partner is an experienced charter broker with excellent market knowledge and contacts," John Kohlsaat, Chief Commercial Officer Germania said.

Air Partner will exclusively offer Germania aircraft to tour operators, travel agencies and corporate clients on a full charter basis and will do direct seat sales on selected routes. Air Partner has been active in Austria for a decade and for more than five years in Hungary. It has excellent contacts in the industry and provides high-level service with short reaction time in order to provide added value to its customers. Pilgrim flights to Lourdes and other destinations will be a focus, and in addition there will be aircraft capacity available to fly from Austria and Hungary to European destinations. (BBJ Online)
