Hungarian agricultural company Fűzvölgyi Agrár has begun operations at its HUF 170 million rape press in its plant in Fűzvölgy, regional daily Zalai Hírlap reported.
The plant is currently making biofuel. Fűzvölgyi Agrár will sell the pellets remaining after pressing process to animal farms as feed.
Company CEO László Szűcs said Fűzvölgyi Agrár shut down its hog farm due to its high costs. The company will employ workers from the closed hog farm at its oil plant.
