Academy names Ottó Légli "Winemaker of the Year"

The Hungarian Academy of Wine on Friday named Ottó Légli, a vintner in Balatonboglár, 2010 "Winemaker of the Year".

The title, the highest award for Hungarian vintners, is an acknowledgment not of a single wine but of excellence achieved over many years.

Légli was picked over Károly Áts from Tokaj, Tamás Duzsi from Szekszárd, Éva Dignisz Gál from Kiskunság and Péter Vida of Szekszárd in the final vote. (MTI-ECONEWS)
