About 8% more aircraft use Hungarian airspace in October

Almost 47,900 aircraft passed through Hungarian airspace in October, 8.2% more than in the same month a year earlier, air traffic control company HungaroControl told MTI.

More than 443,600 aircraft passed through Hungarian airspace in January-September, a 5% increase over the same period a year earlier.

There were 9,723 takeoffs and landings in October, HungaroControl said.

The number of takeoffs and landings at Budapest's Ferihegy International Airport rose in a year-on-year comparison for the first time in 2010 in October. (MTI – Econews)
