Supermarket brands represented 28% of all pasta sold in February-March 2006 compared to 25% in the same period a year earlier.
54% of pasta sold between April 2005 and March 2006 was pasta made with eggs, compared to 57% in the previous year. Demand for pasta without eggs is increasing, according to ACNielsen's survey.
