Zalakerámia acquires 100% of Croatian subsidiary Inker

Tile maker Zalakerámia raised its stake in its Croatian subsidiary Inker
Trgovina d.o.o. Zapresic from 70% to 100%, Zalakerámia said in
Magyar Tőkepiac on Monday. Tilemaker Zalakerámia converted into a closed share company as of August 15, 2005 and its shares were delisted from the Budapest Stock Exchange on August 3. The move follows a buyout by its Austrian majority owner Lasselsberger which raised its stake to 93.6% earlier in the summer. Zalakerámia reported pre-tax profit of HUF 377.4 million in H1 2005, down 58% from the same period a year earlier, according to its unaudited, unconsolidated report, prepared with Hungarian Accounting Standards (HAS). Unconsolidated first-half revenue increased 10.4% yr/yr to HUF 4.62 billion.
