Wizz Air starts flights to Amsterdam

Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced that it would commence flights on Amsterdam - Katowice and Amsterdam-Budapest routes. The flights will start from 1st November and 1st December respectively. Wizz Air will operate 3 weekly flights on Amsterdam-Katowice and 4 weekly flights on Amsterdam Budapest routes. In the coming winter season Wizz Air will start flights on 9 new routes and increase frequencies on most of the existing routes. The increase of capacity all together represents a 65 % growth compared to the same period last year. Shortly operations from Poznan, Poland, Sofia, Bulgaria and Kaunas, Lithuania will be added. Since its start in May 2004 Wizz Air has carried over 1.5 million passengers.
