Wizz Air boosts Warsaw to strengthen leadership in Poland

Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced at a press conference in Warsaw today that it would more than double capacity in Warsaw by increasing the number of weekly flights from 31 this summer to 63 from 1st December 2005. From 1st December 2005 Wizz Air will start flying three new routes from Warsaw to Kaunas, Lithuania 6 times a week, Budapest, Hungary and Dortmund, Germany with 5 weekly frequencies each. Also frequencies will be increased on each of the existing services from Warsaw. Now Wizz Air serves 10 destinations from Warsaw with over one million seats per annum. Wizz Air currently accounts for about 40% of the low cost air travel market in Poland.
