Austrian-based Volksbank Rt has established a separate unit to meet the special financial demands of doctors and health care employees, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported. The professional background is provided by Ärztebank, an 80-year-old special medical bank of the Volksbank holding, sector director Péter Szabados told the paper. He added that while investment is the primary sector at the Ärtzebank, Volksbank?s medical branch will focus on funding activity. The difference is due to the prevailing discrepancy between the demands in the two countries. He also said that medical sector will support clients who did not use to be considered suitable for banking loans because the strict venture management policy is interwoven with professional points of view. The program is appreciated by the Hungarian Medical Chamber (MOK).
