Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány's recent visit to the United States has opened a new chapter in bilateral ties, the PM said yesterday. Gyurcsány's official visit between October 4-8 marked the end of an era of relations restricted to security-related issues, Vasarnapi Hírek said, and quoted the prime minister as saying that "never before have (the two countries) had so much openness and understanding for each other, though both sides are aware that their visions of the benefits of bilateral contacts are different from one another."
