Viasat3 Q2 revenue up 80% yr/yr

Sweden's Modern Time Group's (MTG) Hungarian channel Viasat3 reported revenue of SEK 24 million in the second quarter, up 80% from the same period in 2004. Viasat3's operating losses came to SEK 2 million, although the channel managed to break even in the month of June. First-half revenue rose 86 % yr/yr to SEK 39 million. Operating losses were SEK 12 million in H1. Viasat3's market of viewers between the ages of 18 and 49 the primary target group for advertisers - grew from 4.6 5 in Q2 2004 to 5.7 % in Q2 2005. Viasat3, which is a general entertainment channel, was first broadcast in 2000.
