TUV Rheinland to set up regional quality certifications centre

TUV Rheinland Group, the German safety and quality certification company, will set up a regional quality control and certifications centre in Budapest, Gábor Czitan, TUV Rheinland CEO responsible for Central and Eastern Europe told MTI. The center will be based on the group's Hungarian unit TUV Rheinland Intercert and its two recent Hungarian acquisitions: engineering safety certifier MBVTI and electrical certifier MEEI Czitan said. TUV Rheinland Intercert, which already acted as the group's regional centre, recently purchased 100% of the two companies. Another member of the TUV Rheinland group, TUV Produkt Service, won a tender to buy general quality certification company Kermi.
