Turkey and Hungary sign economic cooperation agreement

On a two-day visit to Hungary, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány and President Ferenc Mádl to discuss bilateral economic relations between the two countries. Following closed-door talks, Gyurcsány reiterated Hungary?s support for Turkey?s EU accession efforts and stressed the importance to deepen economic cooperation between the two countries. An agreement to this end was signed by Economy and Transport Minister János Kóka and Turkish Environment Minister Osman Pete, reported Magyar Hírlap.
